Small jobs, done by people nearby.

Tinkr connects people who need a hand with everyday tasks to students and neighbours who want to earn a bit extra, at prices both sides agree on.

Most help apps are built for professionals. Most everyday jobs don't need one.

Getting a wardrobe built or a few boxes carried shouldn't cost a tradesperson's rate. But asking a friend isn't always possible, and a post in a local group comes with no agreement, no payment and no way to know who's turning up.

At the same time, plenty of students and people between jobs would happily spend an afternoon helping out, if it fit around their schedule and the money actually reached them.

Tinkr sits in that gap. It's a simple marketplace for the small stuff: fair prices for the people asking, flexible work for the people helping, and a clear, safe way for the two to find each other.

How it works

Everyone on Tinkr can post and take tasks. Here's what each side looks like.

When you need a hand

  1. Post your taskSay what needs doing, where and when, and what you'd like to pay.
  2. Pick someoneRead profiles and reviews, chat in the app, and agree on a price.
  3. Get it doneConfirm when the task is finished and pay securely in the app.
  4. Leave a reviewHelp the next person know who they're working with.

When you want to earn

  1. Browse nearby tasksFilter by distance, category, date and price.
  2. Apply or make an offerAccept the price or suggest a different one.
  3. Do the jobShow up, help out, and mark the task as complete.
  4. Get paidYou keep 97% of the agreed price (100% while you're a Founding Tasker).

What we stand for

Helpers keep 97% of what they earn, with no surprises.

Helpers pay a flat 3% commission, shown up front and never changed silently. Founding Taskers (everyone who signs up before 1 June 2027) pay 0% on their first €500 of earnings or for 90 days, whichever comes first. Posters pay a small, non-refundable Connection & Support fee on top of the agreed price.

Prices you decide together

There's no fixed rate card. The person posting suggests a budget, the helper can accept or negotiate, and nobody is locked into a price that doesn't work for them.

Everyday help, everyday prices

From a student moving flats to a family short on time, Tinkr makes it easy to get a hand with the small stuff without paying professional rates.

Trust on both sides

Both sides review each other after every task. You chat inside the app without sharing your phone number, and payments are handled securely through Stripe.

Simple enough for everyone

You shouldn't need to be good with apps to get help. We keep Tinkr plain and easy to use, whether it's your first app or your fiftieth.

Where we are

Tinkr is a small team based in the Netherlands, and that's where we're starting. Once things are working well here, we plan to bring Tinkr to more cities across Europe.

We're building this one task at a time, and we'd love to hear what you think, whether it's an idea, a problem, or a story about a job that went well.
