Task Posters pay a Connection & Support fee of 12% of the task price (minimum €2.50 per task), added on top of the price. This fee is non-refundable. Task Doers pay a 3% commission, deducted from their payout. Founding Taskers (everyone who signs up before 1 June 2027) pay 0% on their first €500 of earnings or for 90 days from signup, whichever comes first, then the standard 3% applies automatically. For example, a €50 task costs the poster €56 total; the doer receives €48.50 (or the full €50 while their Founding Tasker offer is active).
Message the other person first -- most issues are misunderstandings that sort out in chat. If you can't resolve it, use "Report an issue" on the task; this opens a support case with our team, who review the messages and task details and decide on a fair resolution (releasing payment to the doer or refunding the task price to the poster -- the Connection & Support fee is non-refundable).
When the poster accepts you, your earnings go into your own payout account, held by Stripe, but you can't withdraw them yet. When you've finished the work, tap Request completion. The poster can then confirm, which releases your earnings straight away. If they don't respond within 48 hours of your completion request (and nobody has reported an issue), your earnings are released automatically. The 48 hours only start when you request completion, not when you're accepted. Once released, you can withdraw them to your bank from €20. Anything you don't withdraw is paid out to your bank automatically after about 80 days.
Yes. You can propose a different price when you apply, or send a formal offer from the chat using the Negotiate button. The other person can accept, decline, or counter your offer.
Try reaching them through the app first. If a doer stops responding before completing a task, or a poster goes silent after work is done, use "Report an issue" on the task so our team can step in.
After a task is completed, both people can leave a 1-5 star rating with optional written feedback, up to 7 days after the task was completed. Reviews are public and can't be edited, so it's worth being accurate and fair. Tinkr Support may hide a review that's offensive or shares personal details.
Mounting, Moving, Cleaning, Outdoor, Assembly, Errands, Tutoring, Tech Help, Pet Care, Senior Help, Painting, and Other -- for anything that doesn't fit neatly elsewhere.
Compare your price to similar tasks -- a below-market budget gets skipped. Add a clear description, mention any requirements, and include photos if relevant. Vague or underpriced tasks consistently get fewer offers.
Before you accept anyone, yes -- delete or edit the task freely. Once a doer is accepted and payment is held, there's no one-tap cancel: talk to the other person first, and if you can't agree, use "Report an issue" so our team can review it and refund the task price or release the payment. The Connection & Support fee is non-refundable once a doer is accepted.
Yes. When you accept a doer, the task price goes to their payout account at Stripe, but it's held there: they can't withdraw it until you confirm the work is done (or 48 hours pass after they mark it complete without anyone reporting an issue). If something goes wrong, report an issue: the payment stays held while our team resolves it, and can be refunded to you.
